Which way is she spinning?

So this isn’t related to the military or new media… but it is cool. Which way do you see? Can you see both?

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test … do you see the dancer turning clockwise or counter-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of people see the dancer turning counter-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

Update: Here is a hint if you want to try and make her switch, but can’t. Look at her lower foot and/or the shadow of her lower foot and see if the woman switches direction.

A brief detour

… from your regularly scheduled programming.

I typically don’t write about politics in this blog, unless it directly related to the military and new media.

But today’s article in the Post by Dana Milbank is too funny not to link to it.

Good writing deserves it kudos, and Milbank is masterful.

My favorite part:

Anne Kornblut of the New York Times asked [Republican Rep. Patrick] McHenry if his complaint might come across as whining.

“I’m not whining,” he whined.

For those of you who don’t know McHenry, he is the little guy in picture above.
